Newport, RI – 3/26-27/2017

March 26-27, 2017 (Sunday and Monday)

We mostly just sat, lazed and grazed. We did go out once to Walmart to try to get some medications refilled. We are really enjoying our own coffee and food, even though the kitchen here is very small and limited (no oven). My major achievement was I did laundry while Michael worked on things. They have a very nice complimentary laundry room here with three washers and three dryers (all working).

There was a whole little fleet of sail boats out today.

A heavy fog rolled in and we were glad we were not out on the unfamiliar roads.

It actually got a little thicker than this before night fell.

We thought we would get up and head to Boston on Monday morning, but when we got up and were enjoying our coffee and cereal, the fog kept pouring in and thickening up. We could barely see the ends of the piers near our room so we decided to stay home and play catch up some more. Sounds good to me. We are both pretty tired and Michael is trying to get sick or something as his nose is running and his side hurts a little. We’re hopeful a couple down days will do him good.
