TIMESHARE PRESENTATION (AGAIN)

March 6, 2017 (Monday)

We’re tired and it was hard to get up early to get to the timeshare presentation in time (9:15 AM) over at another Wyndham resort –  about a five minute drive away. We got there and met our “representative,” Lisa. She was very nice, at first. We explained to her we had no intention of buying, we had been on several presentations recently, and the only reason we finally agreed to this one was the fact we were told about a new website that Wyndham wanted us to enroll in ahead of its launch. Also, we wanted to find out about the blue Wyndham card being upgraded to a gold card.  (Didn’t hurt getting the freebies either.)

The presenter was quite good. It was funny because he looked almost exactly like the Wyndham guy you see on all the advertisements – the one with the big bushy red beard. He was very informative about using all the benefits and explained how each worked. Even though we use the Wyndham Rewards, it was nice to hear how he gets the most bang for his buck out of it.

After the presentation we went into Lisa’s cubicle and “talked.” She kept asking questions and trying to get us to overcome our objection to buying anything. She insisted we would be better off. We tried to explain to her that we didn’t want to have a lifetime of maintenance fees after we go off the road. Anyway, after awhile she gave up and we left.

The rest of the day was spent doing things like grocery shopping, cooking (made my Mexican soup again that Michael wanted), and laundry. Michael continued working on the blog and doing other fun things like bills.

Nice store.

That was our day. Hope yours was great!
