October 12, 2016 (Wednesday)
Today’s activity was we were going to go to Walmart and get Michael’s medication. Before we got there, Michael wanted to show me where he was lost last night. We went to the new Four Seasons model homes area and he pointed out how he walked the berm down and went through the golf course. While we were there we went through some of the model homes. So beautiful. The small ones (about 1500 square feet) were about $250,000; and the large one (about 2700 square feet) was about $350,000.
It is going to be a lovely gated subdivision once it is done.
Went to Walmart and put in the order for his medication. We decided to return tomorrow and pick it up instead of wait. When we got back home we made our new favorite sandwich (except I didn’t use ciabatta bread and Michael didn’t like it as much) – mozzarella cheese, tomato and avocado with mayonnaise. I thought it was really yummy with the soft bread.
Later in the afternoon we decided to go to the hot tub that is really close (an adults only one), even though it’s really hot out but we thought it would help Michael’s blisters. We sat in the lobster tank for awhile and then got out and started walking towards the showers to rinse off. As I was walking (ahead of Michael as usual) I heard a big thud. I turned around and Michael had slipped and fallen on the very slick concrete. Could not believe it as he had not been running, was walking carefully, and had slipped. The only thing I can think of is that they have been doing a lot of grinding of stone and concrete and possibly the fine mist landed on the concrete at the hot tub and when it got wet, it got extraordinarily slick. He’s going to be very sore, if not at the hospital, tomorrow.
We used up some of the leftovers for dinner and sat and vegged the rest of the evening. That was our day. Hope yours was great!
