Back to Vancouver, BC, Canada – 5/22-23/2016

May 22, 2016 (Sunday)

Breakfast at Moderno – a continental buffet but they had a waffle station and an omelette station. We got a seat near the window to watch the sea go by. It was a very grey day. After breakfast we went to go to Guest Services to get our preliminary bill to make sure everything was okay. After that we went to a lounge area and listened to a seminar about arthritis and gout. Very interesting.

These little athletes are very fast and hard to catch in the air.
Beautiful dolphins of some sort.
I can’t really imagine living without roads or neighbors in an isolated place with foul weather.
A German couple we felt close to by the time the cruise was over.  (Not in a good way.)

Mostly a lazy day of packing, eating, drinking and getting ready to get off the ship tomorrow. It’s been fun and we both loved Alaska and want to come back to explore more (hopefully on a cruise).

Mike here:  We left the next day, a few photos from the ship and disembarking.

A last breakfast before we disembark.
Pretty woman supervising docking.
We didn’t much care if we left out of Vancouver or Seattle. Next time we will eliminate the border crossings and leave out of Seattle.
This guy is smart and knows how to cover ground with kids, luggage and a backpack.
The lines coming back were really long.
