Life has overtaken our blog. We are so busy with other things that finding time to publish is difficult. It is September 7th as I write this. We are living in our studio apartment, waiting for our renter to move out of our home so we can get it market ready. Belinda (our renter), a single working mom, is our renter and friend. She has discovered that rents have gone through the roof in our area. She found a place, not far away, that she likes. The fellow has promised it to her but he is making some repairs and it is taking longer than he thought. We have offered to help him with the work so we can get into our house and do the things we need to do to get it market ready.
We have made small side trips that have been great fun. I just need to publish. I am skipping many days and just hitting the highlights of our lesser travels. We left Victoria BC and returned to Keizer. We stopped at a Worldmark in Southern Oregon on our return to California. It was a lovely resort and the subject of today’s blog entry.
As we get close there is obviously no water problems here.It is nice to see the lush green.As we move away from the lake the land dries out quickly.Klamath Lake is huge.Very lovely here. The lake is roughly 20 miles long and 8 miles wide.Running Y sign.Someone spent some money here.A nice golf course surrounds the lodge and grounds.Our check in area.This has become a pink job as I photograph pretty woman at work.The horse pictures are starting to catch Edie’s eye more and more often.The entrance to our room and there is a large utility closet in first view.Nice dining area, little island.Nice open area for the kitchen, dining and living room.We just don’t eat much meat anymore. We should barbecue some vegetables though.The deck has a nice view into the surrounding landscape.Fireplace, flat screen, murphy on the left.They all have nice queen murphy beds.Fun light designs.Nice decor touchesVery functional kitchen.Edie really liked the cows above the sink.Master.A very comfortable bed.Okay bathrooms.Nice TV in bedroom, frees me from having to watch, “Say Yes to the Dress.”Pretty woman’s favorite feature at all the Worldmark resorts.2nd bedroom.I like to take the second bathroom as my own when it is just us. Toilet seat stays up!
This place is on our list to go back to and spend at least 3 or 4 days. It is a very pleasant place to hang out. We wish you a wonderful day wherever you are.
