Larry and Renee left today to go back to Oregon. Michael dropped them off about 10 am for the 10:30 ferry. We watched from our balcony as they sailed by. They had all their bags and were probably hunkered down someplace warm.

Pretty lazy day. Michael and I went to the Mayfair Mall to look around and get him some shirts. We figured we might save a little because of the currency difference (something like 25 percent in our favor). We walked across the street to Bed Bath and Beyond and ended up getting some silicone muffin tins and a mirror that Michael wanted. We also got some shirts at the Hudson Bay Company store when we walked back across the street.

Shopping with a strong US dollar is like getting a 25% discount on the merchandise. Plus, they don't use penny's for change and that is nice.

We drove back towards our home and stopped at our fish and chips favorite – Finest at Sea. Michael and I had forgotten how big the portions were and ordered the two piece. We could not eat it all. We must remember if we get a two piece, it’s to split.

Our favorite. Excellent breading on Halibut, twice cooked fries, all so good.

We went back to our room and had our lunch. The weather is much better today and we just sat around and looked out the window. We’re waiting for the debates to start. Can’t believe we’re going to have over a year of this but want to see how Trump does.
