And laughed...

March 4, 2015 (Wednesday)

We got up and visited for a little bit then Uncle Claude and Aunt Gail took us to Lucy’s Diner in Fort Smith for breakfast. It’s a local’s place and quite good. They give you lots of food and we were glad to see Uncle Claude eat everything on his plate.

Cold and rainy drive.

These sweet and cold little birds watched us eat breakfast through the window. I saved a piece of toast and took out and crumbled it on the ledge. They scattered but after a time came back and enjoyed their breakfast.

After breakfast, we drove around Fort Smith and Aunt Gail pointed things out. She was born and raised in this area and knows a lot of history, which is always interesting to us. There was still lots of snow out but it seems to be melting away. When we got back to Uncle Claude and Aunt Gail’s home, Michael went on some errands and then we made dinner for them (our chicken paprika meal).

We enjoy Uncle Claude so much and he has lost so much weight, it is a concern.

Aunt Gail is great fun too, but they have had to cut back on their square dancing.

That was our day. Hope yours was great!
