March 3, 2015 (Tuesday)

Finally a break in the weather and we headed to Muldrow to visit with Uncle Claude and Aunt Gail. Uncle Claude, even though he wasn’t feeling all that well, had made a wonderful dinner of roast beef and his fantastic chocolate pecan pie. He has lost quite a bit of weight since we saw him last. He went from 160 to 120, losing a fourth of his total weight. He said it was because food didn’t taste that good to him. He said he is just now finding food tasty again, which we are so glad to hear and want to put weight back on his bones.

We stopped for lunch. Been a long time since we have had Mexican Food.

It was about a three hour drive from Afton to Muldrow and we were pretty tired so we all went to bed early after we visited for awhile.
