Mike here. Edie didn’t write today’s blog due to a series of events that I will describe in tomorrow’s entry. We arrived at the Big Stirrup Cay early in the morning.
We woke up to a strange ocean, such flat water.Such a mirrored surface for part of it.
We had to be tendered to the little island. We walked around, swam a little, sat in the lounge chairs, ate lunch there, went for a walk and then returned to the ship.
Our welcome to the little island.It is a well developed Norwegian Cruise Line recreational island. I liked the beach wheel chairs.Interesting trees.Several areas were set up nicely. The water was a little cool and took your breath at first.We hung out on chairs for a while.Headed back to the tender.
Had our last dinner, said our good byes to our table partners, watched some of the last show and went to bed.
Edie had a cheese and tomato appetizer.I had a seafood appetizer that was really good.Edie had a salad with thousand island dressing.I had a salad with blue cheese dressing (like all the dressings, it was weird).Edie had a kind of spaghetti dish and she liked it.I had a really good chicken marsella dish.Edie had her favorite, cream brulee with wild berries.I had a slice of cheesecake.We said our good byes to: Mary and Zoe,Denise and Danie,and Shirley and Ron. Good people all!This man, whose name I could never say, took excellent care of us and our room.Pretty woman dressed and ready for a show.The last show.We enjoyed it, but sat in the very back.And we did leave a little early.
We knew we had to be out of our room by 7 am. Pretty rude. Anyway, that was our day and we hope yours was great.
