Cracker Barrel, Slidell, Louisiana – 11/30/2014

NOVEMBER 30, 2014 (Sunday)

Better night’s sleep. We kept the bathroom fan on for white noise and it helped a lot.

We slept in and when we woke up, Michael’s ankle is not working properly. We think it’s gout (again) as he has not been good about drinking water. We find that when he drinks a large amount of water the gout crystals aren’t able to form. In the ankle is new. Poor guy. We’ll be better about the water.

We finally got in touch with niece Mary, brother John’s daughter. She had been sick but was feeling better and we made arrangements to meet at the Slidell, Louisiana Cracker Barrel.

We had a very nice visit with her. We got a chance to catch up on her work and social life. We ate well and then went shopping in the Cracker Barrel. The last time we saw her was several months ago in Oregon at brother John’s home. She’s trying for a promotion to Kansas. Hope it comes through for her.

Anyway, that was our day. Hope yours was great!
