Mike here, after 400 plus miles I have given Edie the day off, also she is doing our laundry. We have been listening to Unbroken, by Laura Hillenbrand. What a great book of struggle and human endurance during World War II. Such food deprivation for such a long time. I felt guilty when we stopped at a Cracker Barrel for a Thanksgiving meal.
Nice Lone Star graphic on the overpass pillars.We got out of the city and then topped off.Still love the Prius.The landscape changed again and we entered the south.Police were busy today, saw a fair number of Constables on Patrol (COPS).Louisiana state line.We passed through Shreveport.Shreveport had a couple water towers.Edie loves church steeples.Great looking air boat. I wanted to follow them and beg a ride.Natchitoches has a water tower too.As good as it is, we are getting tired of eating out on the road like this.Rocking chair for sale at Cracker Barrel.
Corn muffin and buttermilk biscuit.Waters and diet cokes.Ham, turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes, stuffing with gravy, and cranberry sauce.We both got the same thing, $10.99, drinks and pie were free. Missed photographing the pumpkin pie.Edie is seeing blooms again.

Another long day on the road and another night in a motel. A few more gas stops and we are looking forward to checking into a resort on December 6.
Topped off again.Down to 3 squares, a little over 6 gallons.We have never seen hubcaps like these.You’d think they would regularly kiss a curb.Getting tired of hotel/motels. Really looking forward to a week in a resort. It is a big Ramada.
