SEPTEMBER 12, 2014 (Friday)

Weather is still beautiful. We had wanted to go on the hike today but Michael’s gout started acting up yesterday afternoon. Last night his foot started swelling so we talked and decided to just relax today as a gout day until the afternoon.

Around 4:00 PM we left and went for a visit to some wonderful new friends we met, Midge and Jim. We had been wanting to see a loft unit so it worked out beautifully. When we got to their unit, Midge and Jim had lots of snack goodies out, along with wine. How nice it was to tour the unit (lovely), and the unit next door. It was a lock off with two queen beds inside. Very nice. Between the two units they could sleep at least twelve people. They had family coming up tonight and had people in and out during the week.

Such a great visit and we hope to meet up with them again sometime along the way.

We are back in our unit, packing up a little, but mostly just chilling. That was our day. Hope yours was great!
