July 24, 2014 ( Thursday)

Edie and Lex finished putting the second coat of paint on the mobile home.  We should paint our house while we are here but we are really tired of painting.  I tried to help but Edie insisted I take the quad copter up the hill and get pictures.  I hiked up to the top, flew the copter, came back down, put the memory stick in the computer and found that I did not record anything.  What a disappointment.

I did take the Canon with me and got a few interesting shots.

About three quarters of the way to the top this pine tree is loaded with pine cones.

It is a pretty tree.

The Manzanita bark is a beautiful red, ultra smooth wax like bark.

It must ooze out and cover the old, you can see places where it has not closed.

I've got to get up her on a really clear day for good pictures.

On the way down, I really like this Manzanita.

That was our day, hope yours was great.
