Lovely day. Getting hotter each day and the wind has died down (yahoo).

Lazy morning and then we went over to check out the Silverton Casino. On Mondays, it’s Senior Day and they have a drawing at 2 PM, 4 PM, and 6 PM. They also offer great deals for “points” you earn while gambling. Makes you feel not so bad about gambling (aka losing money) when you get a free buffet and free Starbucks.

Still, I spent way too much. I am not allowed to be alone in a casino from now on. Michael left for just a little bit to go get gas and go to Fry’s and I managed to spend way too much – but I had fun and the machines let me play (trying to make myself feel better).

That was our day – spent in the casino. We checked out the aquarium.

I really liked the fish heads on the ends of the logs.

After looking around for a place to eat, we discovered many of the restaurants in the casino were closed from 3 PM to 4 PM. We ended up having linner at a Johnny Rocket’s.

And split a plate of chili cheese fries.

We didn’t win any of the drawings but we did get two free buffets and two free Starbucks drinks, along with $15.00 in free slot play.

We got our tickets to see “O,” so that’s exciting. We were able to negotiate the price (I think we paid about $80.00 per ticket).
