MARCH 21, 2014 (Friday)

Woke up to beautiful, glorious sunshine! Nice.

Lexi wanted to stay home today while Michael and I did our errands. First up, we had a 10:30 AM appointment to get the rear wheels aligned on the Prius. That took about an hour. While we were waiting at Larry Miller Toyota, we looked at all the new cars. We still love the Avalon hybrid but don’t like the price. We’ve decided (again) to keep our little Prius until it dies an ugly death.

After the alignment, we found a laundromat and did some laundry. We found out while folding the clothes that we had forgotten a bag. Bummer. I guess we’ll just make due until we do another load in a few days. While I was doing laundry, Michael went and got his hair cut a few doors down.   He said it was interesting because no one in the business spoke English!

By this time it was around 2:30 PM. We went back home and picked Lexi up and went to linner (lunch/dinner) at Panera. While driving there, we got to see some of the University of New Mexico campus. Lovely. Once at Panera, Michael got a bread bowl of turkey chili, Lexi got a bread bowl of broccoli/cheddar soup, and I got a chicken salad and half a steak sandwich. Everything (as usual) was wonderful.

When done we drove to Cracker Barrel to drop off the book on tape. Lexi and I didn’t enjoy it very much (too confusing), so Michael finished it up last night. When we pulled close to the Cracker Barrel, there were police cars and lights flashing, along with yellow tape closing off part of the parking lot. Michael went ahead on in as it was open but he couldn’t find out what was happening. Maybe in the news later?

We are now safely back in our home. That was our day. Hope yours was great!
