FEBRUARY 13, 2014 (Thursday)

Cold, grey, and the rain had mostly washed away all the beautiful snow.  We’re expecting more now tonight so we should wake to it again.

We were so lazy today. Slept and slept and then slept some more. I am still being a baby but feel so much better. Michael has a little bit of tenderness left. We’re hopeful his will go away soon.

Did laundry, sorted, got some business done, Michael worked on the book he and Lexi are working on, Lexi cooked a wonderful dinner for us, packed – but mostly just did a whole lot of nothing. Felt good. There was a severe thunder and lightning storm so that kept us even more inside.

Pan fried potatoes and tomatoes, cucumbers with lemon pepper, balsamic and rice vinegars.

I got a room for us for tomorrow night in Baltimore. I used Skyauction buy it now.  Like that one because we can put in the number of beds we need.  With Priceline you can’t.  (The room is a Sheraton for less than $80.00.)  Our plan is to go to Washington DC and do a couple of museums. We’ve been there before but really enjoy it each time we go. After we’re done with DC, we plan on going on up to Baltimore area so we’re closer to getting into New York City on Saturday. We want to get into New York City in time to get the half off tickets in Times Square for that evening’s play. We’re excited. So much to see and do.

That was our day. Hope yours was great!
