Silver Beach Club, Daytona Beach, Florida 1/9/2014

JANUARY 9, 2014 (Thursday)

Had to say goodbye to our lovely vacation home. We left around 9:45 AM and went across the street to the Starlite Diner. Large portions and okay food, reasonable prices.

After that it was “home” to the Silver Beach Club Resort. While we had been on vacation, a housekeeper had come in and cleaned it up. They didn’t change sheets but did give us new towels and took out the garbage. It had started raining really hard on the drive “home.” Also, the sky was getting darker and darker. At first I thought it was fog but not sure what’s going on.

We stayed home for a little bit and then went out to run errands. First off, post office and then over to Walmart. Michael had to get his medication refilled, and while he did that I did some shopping for a few groceries. On the drive back home we went by the yacht club and some lovely homes.

Back home I went to bed with a headache. Still have it but took some aspirin. Hoping it goes away soon. Lexi made dinner (she’s getting really good, gonna miss her cooking skills).

That was our day. Hope yours was great!
