Cold, grey, ugly (again).

Went out in search of a Post Office. Lexi and I had tried to find one yesterday, no luck. The one our GPS took us to looked like it had been closed down for awhile. Today Michael and I went looking. We found one, again closed, but it had directions to another one that said across from Penney’s and then gave an address. We put in the address into our GPS system and drove. We got there okay, but the Penney’s store is closed so don’t bother looking for that as a landmark. Anyway, got the stuff in the mail that we needed mailed. The Post Office had closed early but Michael was able to use a automated self help package mailer. His first time at that and he enjoyed it.

Just had to pause and get a picture of this really nice Chevy.

I was forced to use this self-service kiosk. This lady only had cash, turned and asked us in line if she could use our card and give us the cash. I locked up. A really nice and naive young woman used her debit card and got the lady on her way. I figured that I don't know her, what she is shipping, what may really be in the package and I just didn't want my credit or debit card associated with a random package. I mailed a medium priority box and it was pretty easy. — I was forced to use this self-service kiosk. After the Post Office we went to Dollar Tree. I got some mustache straws for our drinks and some hats for the New Year. Next, we were off to Staples to see about getting some business cards made up. We decided, after looking at how to make our own business cards, we need to go “home” and get the pictures we want and go online and make them up. After that, we had an adventure trying to find the McDonald’s for some coffee drinks. It was one of those “you can’t get there from here” places and we had to go down two different roads to get there, finally.

Got back home and the mustache straws put a smile on Lexi’s face. She is watching “The Walking Dead” marathon. She and Michael like it, I don’t. I’m in the bedroom playing on my computer and doing other stuff.
