Christmas in Titusville, Florida 12/25/2013
DECEMBER 25, 2013 (Wednesday)
Happy birthday Caz!
Merry Christmas!
Lex had a little present under the tree. She already got her big gift.
Woke up to sunshine and beauty. Lexi got up early to make some Christmas cookies. She even decorated some. Very cute.
After that Michael put the turkey in, I put together the green bean casserole, corn, bread, mashed potatoes, and took out Nana’s purple jello (Lexi had made) to put on a plate. Everything turned out great and we ate way too much. I loved the joint effort. We said gratitudes at the table before we ate. Lexi said, “Mom, it’s not Thanksgiving,” but we have so much to be grateful for.
It took such a long time to get everything together and no time to eat it. Like I said, it was really good. Now we have leftovers for the time left here. Turkey sandwiches for days.
Today we also booked our Christmas for next year. We booked Little Gull in Longboat Keys, Florida for Christmas week, and Sheridan Vistana Fountains for New Year’s week. They both look interesting – Little Gull real low key and Sheridan more active.
That was our day. Hope yours was great!
