From Mizner Place to Vacation Villiage Weston 12/14/2013

Moving day. The people here (especially Brandi and Carlos) are so wonderful. Michael told Brandi about wanting to have a safe place to keep our luggage and things tomorrow as we leave early in the morning for the 49er’s game against Tampa Buccaneers. We told them we move to their other resort and just wanted a place to keep things until we got back and could move.  We didn’t want all our luggage and computers in the car while we were in the game. Brandi was able to check us into our new “home” a day early, and even upgraded Lexi (again) into her own little apartment. She’s thrilled.  Brandi issued our room keys and parking pass.  She was wonderfully helpful.  She gets a five star rating from us.

We moved about two miles down the road. This resort is much bigger. Not quite as big as their Orlando property, but close. Their pool area is huge with a lovely waterfall feature, basketball, and a smaller pool for kids with a mushroom type water fountain coming out. There is also a snack bar, gift shop, and smoothie bar, along with lots of activities going on. A lady was near the pool giving massages by the minute.

We are on the 5th floor facing the Everglades. Michael is very happy because he gets better cell phone reception here. At the other place he had to go outside and lean over the railing to get any bars on his phone. Too funny.

Once we were unloaded and unpacked, Michael and I took a little walk. I tried my luck at bingo (no luck) and Michael people watched and tried to avoid all the smokers.

We are now back in our new “home” and debating what we want to make for dinner. That was our day. Hope yours was great!
