Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall, Sunrise, Florida 12/13/2013

Michael didn’t cough as much and said he felt better. We decided to go to the Sawgrass Mill Mall. We got there around 11:30 AM. It is a HUGE mall and it was very busy. That’s a good thing. Saw a lot of high end cars (Bentleys, Mercedes, Porsche, etc.) on our walk into the mall.

Nice grounds around the Mall with fair signage telling you which stores were in which section.

Corvair convertible, pretty cool and in decent shape.

Lots of expensive and pretty cars at the Mall, especially later at the valet parking.

Pretty and brand new, found a spot with a flowerbed on one side and very door shy parking on the other. Nice car, but I would worry about it like this owner does.

We walked through some of the mall and ended up looking at Last Call by Neiman Marcus and Marshall’s, then went over to Target and got some birthday cards. I also tried to get some sticky stuff at Target so my flamingo friend, Francine, would sit better on the dashboard of the Prius (no luck).

Fun looking place, but Edie had her mouth and stomach set for Cheesecake Factory.

They had so many fruits available for juice. Looked really good and healthy.

This watch caught my eye. Edie asked if I wanted it and I told her I did not. It just looks like an invitation to be robbed to me.

After we were done shopping, we went to the Cheesecake Factory. The Cheesecake Factory here is a little different on the outside, but the same on the inside. Michael got his usual, BBQ chicken salad; I got a cobb salad; and Lexi got her usual, club sandwich. I also got a piece of Reese’s peanut butter cheesecake to go and will munch on that later with Michael. Lexi says she doesn’t want any but we’ll see.

All you ever see as you drive through town. It is very beautiful, I do wonder at the city budget for landscaping and maintenance.

Michael tried to work on the headlamp on the Prius but he says it’s beyond him at this point. He also talked to Brandi (front desk) and she’s going to check us in to our other resort tomorrow (one day early) so we don’t have to worry about our luggage when we go to the football game in Tampa on Sunday. Such nice people here.

I did some laundry and then Michael and I took a little walk in the rain. It is so beautiful here at night with all the lights in the trees and around. When we got home I turned on the TV and Il Volo was on. Fun.
