NOVEMBER 12, 2013 (Tuesday)

Raining, cold, windy – and to top it off, Michael has a sore throat. We decided today was going to be a down day. We are going to rest and just putz – get the budget up to date, do some laundry, cook dinner, read, rest. We are way over budget.  (Once you back out 1/3 (for Lexi) for food, entertainment, restaurants, and misc. – that’s the cost for two and we are back in budget.)

They have a laundry room on each floor.  Quite nice.  On our floor (4th), they have 3 washers and 3 dryers, all free.

Lexi wanted to go to breakfast so she and I went while Michael stayed home. We went around the corner to the Capitol Pancakes Restaurant. Good food and very large portions. We both ended up taking things “home.”
