Worldmark – Coeur d’Alene, Idaho 9/28/2013

SEPTEMBER 28, 2013 (Saturday)

We all just lazed around for awhile and then we headed out to pick up Lexi at Stoneridge Resort. Larry let me drive their car, an Avalon, while he and Michael sat in back and relaxed. The car was luxurious and so much bigger than the Prius. Michael and I will have to think about one when it comes time to replace the Prius.

When we got to the Stoneridge Resort, Larry and Renee were given a tour by Lexi. Larry even got into a basketball game with a little guy. Michael and Lexi played a game of pool. I took pictures, and Renee looked at the library.

On the way back to Worldmark, Larry and Renee bought us all lunch at Zips drive in, Rathdrum.  It was pretty good.

Lunch at Zips, not bad. Thank you Larry and Renee.

Dave, Danielle, and their two children – Samantha (6) and Scout (2-1/2) are coming to dinner. We got to our “home” around 3:30 PM and all of us, except Renee, proceeded to take a nap for an hour or so before starting to prepare dinner.  Renee opted to read out on the patio.

Lexi was going to cook chicken paprika again. Renee volunteered making the salad.

Dave, Danielle and the kids arrived at almost 6:00 PM. It was so good seeing them again. They both look great. Dave is doing so good with losing weight and working out. Once they got inside, Larry brought out hor d’erves of summer sausage, cheese, olives, mushrooms, and crackers. Yummy. Also, Dave and Danielle had brought some apricot ale that was really good.

We ate and ate, talked and talked, and played with the kids. What a nice night. Was so glad we got to see Dave and Danielle and the kids. What a beautiful family they have. They left at almost 10:00 PM. The kids looked so tired. I was betting they both slept all the way home.

That was our day. Hope yours was wonderful!
