Worldmark – Coeur d’Alene, Idaho 9/26/2013

SEPTEMBER 26, 2013 (Thursday)

Well my little rain dance must have worked because today was a nice day for the most part. The sun came out for awhile and it was glorious. The lake water turned a beautiful blue. Lovely.

We mostly hung out all day waiting for Larry and Renee to get here. Larry and Renee have been Michael’s friends for many years, since around high school. Really fun and nice people. Larry recently retired. They’re from Salem, Oregon but were coming from a Worldmark in Washington state.

They arrived here around 2:30 PM, after dropping their dog, Lilly, off at the dog resort in Coeur d’Alene. They both looked tired but good. Once they arrived, Lexi and I started making chicken and pasta. I was trying something new with the chicken, using panko instead of just flour. It was really good, much crispier than just flour. It was our usual green bean, mushroom, tomato, onion, garlic, potato and pasta with chicken, bread, and salad. I enjoyed it. Everyone else seemed to eat it up.

Larry and Rene went to bed early but Lexi, Michael and I watched the series premier of The Big Bang Theory, and then Elementary. Good shows. Lexi also watched the 49ers beat St Louis. She was glad they are doing better.

That was our day. Hope yours was great!
