SEPTEMBER 10, 2013 (Tuesday)

Slept in a big bed. Was nice. Once up, we had breakfast. Michael had called his brother Jim to see how he was doing. Last time we were here, he had just had surgery on his ankle and wasn’t doing very well. He said he was doing better and we made arrangements to see him around 10 AM.

We left about ten minutes to 10 AM, once Lexi arrived back to brother John’s house with the Prius, and arrived at brother Jim’s house just a few minutes late. Anna opened the door and we went in and were surprised at how well Jim was looking. He was up, dressed, and in his chair. He was getting around much better and just looked so good.

After our short visit with Jim and Anna, we went to Subway and ordered lunch. Michael walked over to the local grocery store and got a few items. We met back at the Subway and then went to brother John’s. Lexi left to go back to Ellen and Brad’s house to help them with a few things. We shared our sandwich and salad with him, surfed the web, watched television, took a nap, and visited. There is a sale going on with RCI and we looked and booked a few more places in Florida and South Carolina. Good prices.

Lex came back early evening and we went shopping.  We lucked out and got my senior discount at Ross Dress For Less.  After Ross, we walked over to Marshall’s.  I asked if they had a discount but they don’t, bummer.  We still need to find Lexi a couple things and then we’re done.  She has the hard part of trying to pack everything into her suitcase.

After shopping we went to the local Panda Express and had dinner.  That was our day.  Hope your day was great!
