Prunedale, California 9/04/2013

SEPTEMBER 4, 2013 (Wednesday)

Another work day in Prunedale. Michael and Lexi painted, hung hooks, hung a fire extinguisher, cleaned and then cleaned some more. Lex polished the bathroom and kitchen and then photographed them for our upcoming listing in Airbnb.com.

I went to IKEA, again. I’m beginning to dislike IKEA but needed to return some things and get some other things again. I was starving and opted for In-n-Out (again). Even though I threw all the evidence away and thought I was being clever, Michael was the first to smell me out when he went to get something out of the car. I think I messed up when I got the Animal Style Fries.  It was the grilled onions, garlic and cheese smells that lingered and gave me away. I joined in the painting when I got home and Michael put together the IKEA things.

After listening to many complaints, Lexi finally went to the store, came home and made what we call a garbage salad – lettuce, tomatoes, cooked pasta, avocado, and cheese, with a light ranch dressing. Good stuff.

We are going to try to get back on the road by Friday, we will see. Still quite a few things to do and a home to find for our beloved little Chihuahua.

Lex got her hair cut today, buzzed sides and still long on top and half the sides. When she wears it down you can’t tell. When she ties it up she looks like she is in training for the woman with the dragon tattoo. I am contemplating how it might look on me.

That was our day. Hope yours was great!
