Keizer, Oregon to Williams, California 8/28/2013

Left brother John’s house around 9:30 AM and went to McDonald’s for our breakfast (egg white McMuffin and tea), and then on to Costco to get some boots for Lexi (our daughter). They are like Uggs but much cheaper. They haven’t had them down at any of the Monterey Peninsula Costcos. Lexi was excited to get some new boots.

After Costco we just started driving. Lake Shasta looked pretty low.

Low water, hope for lots of rain and snow this winter. Out home is on a well, and I sure like having running water at the house.

We had gone online and booked a room in Williams, California for tonight (around $60.00 plus taxes) so we knew where we were going to be. We stopped for gas, a potty break, and had dinner at Carl’s Jr. in Williams.

We got to our room around 7 PM. It was a Ramada Inn and nice. A little noisy but it was clean and they have a nice breakfast in the morning.

That was our day. Hope yours was grand!
