Happy 40^th Birthday Natalie!

Slept in. Felt good. Bed is only a queen but it was comfortable and we slept good in it. Michael got up a little before me and went out to the living room to work on his computer and watch his Sunday morning show. When I finally stumbled into the living room, we had breakfast and coffee.

We played on our computers and started planning ahead for our Europe adventure. Looking at car leasing or buying versus renting. Also looking at airbnb in places where there are no timeshares. Still debating on how long and when we want to go. I say let’s leave tomorrow and stay until we’re tired. Have to plan a little I guess.

Around noon we went to the free BBQ get together. Hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, grilled onions, chips, potato salad, drinks. Nice. Not much conversing with others tho as everyone had their own spot and didn’t seem like they wanted to mingle. Lots of people showed up.

I think they bought it all from Costco, so it was pretty good!

This really is a lovely resort. Most of the rooms near the BBQ had French doors that opened into the lovely green area. I like that. You feel very safe and isolated here. Nice and quiet. Also, lots of water falls and ponds.

Even though we are on the first floor (we prefer being above), the people above us are quiet and it’s not bad. The most noise is from the refrigerator and the air conditioning. The weather has turned ugly here. I just want to crawl into bed and sleep.

Raining hard this Sunday afternoon. Forecast calls for real rain tomorrow.
