Nephew – Las Vegas, Nevada 6/14/2013

Left about 12:30 PM to go pick up our nephew (and his father). We headed over to the South Point Casino for lunch. We enjoyed a couple hours of eating and catching up. Nice. If our nephew’s father hadn’t been along, we were going to see if he wanted to go see the new Superman movie. With the dad, we decided against it. We did see a man wearing a Superman shirt and cape walking through the casino on the way to the movie theater. Funny.  (Found out on the 11 o’clock news tonight that ComicCon is going on at the South Point Casino.  Surprised we didn’t see more costumes.)

After lunch, we took our nephew and his dad home and headed back to our place. We took a little rest. Michael checked the tracking number to see if the tickets to “Defending the Caveman” had been delivered and according to the USPS web site, they had, so I walked to the front desk and was told no. While in line, I saw a woman in the prettiest blouse I’ve seen in a long time. I hardly ever like clothes, I’m a pretty simple t-shirt type person, but this was lovely. I commented to her and she said she got it at Kohl’s. I was excited because I know Kohl’s is in my price range so when I got back to the room I made Michael get up and get ready while I went on line to see where the nearest Kohl’s was. Lucky for us it was just a few blocks away.

We went to Kohl’s and found the blouse, but they only had it in a small. We were told we could go to customer service and they could try to track one down. They found one in Henderson (about 15 miles away).  But there was only one in a large.  They called the store and based on a description from the sales person helping us, they could not find it.  We went to the kiosk to see if we could order it online using the skew, no luck.   So off we went to Henderson. We found it in a medium, and I’m hopeful it fits. After Kohl’s we went to Fry’s, upgraded the memory on Edie’s camera and then to Ross for a bathing suit.

Got to the resort, parked in the covered parking spot, went in, tried on the top and no luck.

That was it for our day. We’re sitting here having a glass of wine and relaxing. Hope your day was great!
