Mesquite, Nevada 6/7/2013

Publishing early because I know what the day will be, barring an act of God or medical emergency.   We are excited to be leaving our 1 to 2 star resort and going to a five star in Las Vegas, well off the strip.  Our time here has been okay, wonderful in Zion.  The lack of internet to us was a real deal breaker.  Grand Destinations has a router, and if you are too far from the end of the building where the router is situated, you don’t get internet in your room.  When we checked in I asked if we could move closer to the router.  I was told they were full up and we could not possibly move.  I have spent the week walking past empty rooms towards the end of the building with the router.

The Mesquite library internet has been down.  Forget the visitors center.  Only McDonald’s has worked.  Mesquite is third world when it comes to internet access.  We have bought an inverter for our car, parked at the end of the building and are able to update the blog from the car.

The room was clean and well appointed.  Grounds nice:

We are very happy to be leaving tomorrow.  One time when a week was plenty long.
