Tai Chi – Snowbird, Utah 5/28/2013

MAY 28, 2013 (Tuesday)

Got up early to go to Tai Chi. Michael decided to stay in the room and try to finish up the blog, or at least catch us up to date. Had a nice workout in Tai Chi, got back to the room and just relaxed for awhile. Michael uploaded pictures for the better part of the day and has captioned most of them and inserted them into the appropriate post. We went to a presentation about weight loss for about half an hour or so and then went back to our room and had lunch.

Earlier in the morning we had opened the floor to ceiling curtains (approximately 10′ high and wall to wall). We were shocked at how fast a front was moving in, we watched it sail up the canyon and completely hide the mountains.  After that there was thunder, lightning and hail. Then it started to snow. It’s been about an hour and it’s still snowing. Lovely. Michael and I went to the hot tub and soaked while watching the snow. We wanted to go out to the pool but the doors had been locked.

From late spring to winter in just a few hours. Late May at 8,000+ feet in the Wasatch Mountains.

Winter came calling one more time.

We are now back in our room and still watching it snow. Feels like Christmas. The blog is almost up to date. Just a few more entries. After dinner we couldn’t stand it, we had to go swimming. It was snowing lightly. The usually warm water was cooled by the snowy weather and it was a nice swim, followed by the jacuzzi, then the steam room, then the shower and we are done. Vegging in the livingroom until sleep.
