Salt Lake City, Utah to Park City, Utah 5/18/2013

MAY 18, 2013 (Saturday)

Before heading up to Park City we drove around downtown Salt Lake City. Saw the Temple, and the state Capitol building. A pretty town, neat, clean, nice wide streets, laid out in a grid. Overall a nice place. We had breakfast at a McDonald’s on the way to Park City.

Edie has a personal goal of eating at every Cheesecake Factory there is. Last I asked there was 168!

Was able to check into our timeshare early. The front staff were very nice. We opened the door and there was a room with no door that had bunk beds in it. Next there was a large bathroom, then you come into the living room/kitchen area. The kitchen has the stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator. Aged but clean and functional. The kitchen wasn’t as fully stocked as I would have liked but we made do. To the side was the master bedroom. Nice large comfortable bed and then a smaller bathroom.

Kitchen, not well stocked. Burners were tilted grossly, didn’t fit in the drip pans.

Nice bed, great robes, just did not like the shutters.

Pool, nice though small. It was painted blue which made it odd. Great place to warm up though as the jacuzzi was there as well.

This timeshare complex has heavy shutters that are supposed to work like curtains but they have large gaps and the streetlights shine through at night.
