MAY 12, 2013 (Sunday – Mother’s Day)
We slept in as much as the beautiful weather and glorious sunshine would allow. We had an 11:30 am appointment for the RCI presentation that turned out to be a Worldmark presentation. We’ll talk about this in detail in the yet to be created “Timeshare Presentation” page of this website. We did not buy but we learned a great deal. We are impressed with Worldmark and are contemplating buying resale off the internet.
Edie got calls from her children, which made her day. We then went for a drive and had dinner at a place Michael had seen on a television show. It’s called the Shooting Star Saloon in Huntsville, Utah. It was at one time rated one of the five best hamburger joints in the world. It was very different in that there were dollar bills on the ceiling, markings all over the walls in both bathrooms, and stuffed heads, and other body parts, of animals everywhere. The food was good but very high fat. It was a double cheeseburger with a sausage in the middle of the meat patties. Potato chips on the side. Had to try it while in the area though.
